Yuva Mahotsav – Student Participation

The students of Matoshri Gurubasavva Kalyanshetti College, Akkalkot actively participated in the Yuva Mahotsav 2024 organized by Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur, at Lokmangal College, Wadala, Solapur.

The Yuva Mahotsav is an important annual cultural event of Solapur University, aimed at providing a platform for young students to showcase their talents in art, literature, music, dance, drama, debate, and various cultural performances. It encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and cultural awareness.

Our college team took part in multiple events with great enthusiasm and displayed their artistic and intellectual skills. Participation in this prestigious university-level youth festival gave our students an opportunity to interact with peers from different colleges, exchange ideas, and gain valuable exposure.

Through such events, students develop confidence, communication skills, competitive spirit, and cultural sensitivity which are essential for their holistic development. The college management, principal, and faculty members extended their full support and encouragement to the participants, motivating them to perform their best.

Sports Event Participation

Shot Put Competition

Students of Matoshri Gurubasavva Kalyanshetti Mahavidyalaya, Akkalkot actively participated in the Shot Put competition organized under the Sports Event. The participants displayed great enthusiasm, energy, and determination throughout the event. Students of Matoshri Gurubasavva Kalyanshetti Mahavidyalaya, Akkalkot actively participated in the Discus Throw competition organized under the Sports Event. The participants exhibited strength, skill, and dedication during the event. Their performance showcased the importance of practice, discipline, and sporting spirit.
